One of the largest suburbs of Atlanta, Marietta is a fantastic town with over 60,000 people. It sits to the northwest of the city. It is rich with history from the Civil War era and due to the warm climate there are plenty of parks at which you can enjoy your next outdoor event.
Tumlin Park
This urban park with playgrounds and public lawns has multiple sports fields. The park is 11 acres wide and has two lighted tennis courts. There is a picnic pavilion that can house up to 48 people. The link to rent is here.

Glover Park
This park is just over a 1 acre in size. There is a gazebo in the center of town and a playground. The park hosts concerts and festivals as well and all of the green areas are free to use.

Henry Memorial Park
This comfortable neighborhood play area features playgrounds and a grassy picnic area. The park is 3.5 acres and has two basketball courts as well. There is a picnic pavilion that can be rented at this link as well.

Laurel Park
This lovely 25 acre park has 13 lighted tennis courts, duck ponds, a paved track, and playground equipment for the kids. There are two pavilions, the smaller one holds 36 people while the larger one holds 64. The links to rent them are right here.

Wildwood Park
A downtown 28 acre park that offers 2.5 miles of running trails. There is a picnic shelter that is first come, first serve. See their website for more info.
