A western suburb of Atlanta, this town straddles I-20. The town is rapidly growing based on doubling its population in the past decade. The quaint downtown sits in contrast to the Six Flags amusement park nearby. In this article we have a list of parks for you to utilize for your next outdoor event.
Hunter Memorial Park
This 83 acre park is open from 8-9 daily. There is a newly renovated athletic complex that has lighted tennis courts, 10 multi-purpose ball fields, and 12 batting cages. There are 1.5 miles of trails surrounding the 5 acre lake. They also have horseshoe pits and a full disc golf course. Use this link to rent any of the above facilities.

Mill Village Park
This park is located downtown and is only 3 acres big. It has a walking path, pavilion, playground, and picnic tables. The tables are first come, first serve while you can rent the pavilion at this link for $200 total.

Fowler Field Park
Situated on the southern part of town, this lovely park has a creek running through it. This 8 acre park includes five lighted soccer fields. It also has a playground and picnic areas/tables. Use this link to rent any of the fields at $250 for eight hours.

Deer Lick Park
This park is on the east end of town. It is 66 acres and has a multitude of sports activities, both indoor and outdoor. Pretty much any sport you can think of can be played here…including mini golf. There is a 3 acre fishing lake with a pier as well. The process to rent one of the pavilions or gazebos is slightly complex and requires filling out a paper application, the info for which can be downloaded here. Luckily the cost is generally under $200 for any of the fields, centers, or pavilions.

Jesse Davis Park
Our final park is in the northern part of town. They have undergone some recent upgrades to improve the overall experience. These include: a synthetic turf, 2 new indoor basketball courts, a trail system, and a senior center. They have 6 pavilions, all of which can be rented for a full day at $80 or $40 for half a day.
