Situated about 30 miles north of Atlanta and a one hour drive from the state capital, this quaint suburb has a population of 67,000 people. There is a main square downtown that attracts various types of events and serves as the hub of the town. The area is tree lined and possesses a terrific year round climate. Below is a list of parks that you can utilize for your next outdoor event.
Jones Bridge Park
Towards the southern end of town lies this park along a river. The park also has a playground and sand volleyball court. Due to its incredible location surrounding the Chattahoochee River, you can swim and fish in the park. They also have BBQ pits. This park is open from sunrise to sunset. Newtown Park
Just north of the previous park sits Newtown on the south side of town. There is a dog park here and easy bathroom access. They have sports fields including basketball and baseball/softball and a few lovely gardens. There are 2 miles of running/walking trails. They also offer 13 picnic areas and some pickleball courts as well. Use this link to rent one of their facilities.

Mabry Park
On the north side of town sits this 26 acre park with water access. There is a tiny pond for fishing. There is a farm themed playground as well as over a mile of running/walking trails. Lastly, they have picnic pavilions available on a first come, first serve basis. Use this link to reserve the large picnic pavilion.

Roswell Area Park
One of the larger parks in this area and located close to three highways, this park offers a lake, sports fields, playgrounds, a pool, and a rec center. You can rent the indoor activity center at this link. You can rent the basketball and pickleball courts there. There is also a kitchen and classroom/meeting rooms facilities.

Rock Mill Park
This small public area has picnic facilities, walking paths, an amphitheater, and a mill from the 1800’s. The park is 20 acres and is in close proximity to other outdoor areas. There is a pavilion that can be utilized on a first come, first serve basis.
