The city of Acworth is a northwest suburb of Atlanta, and lies just outside of Kennesaw and Marietta. It is right round one lake that takes its name, Lake Acworth and another Lake Allatoona. This quaint town is home to about 22,000 people. We have researched a list of parks where you can enjoy a picnic or any type of outdoor activity.
Cauble Park
This 25 acre park is right on Lake Allatoona. It has white sandy beaches along with facilities for picnics, fishing, and boating. Non residents have to pay $10 to park at the lake. You can rent the pavilions and gazebo at this link. There are also playgrounds for the kids. Finally, the beach house can have up to 100 people inside it.

Logan Farm Park
This amazing 120 acre park is close to Allatoona and even has a creek running through it. The park also has proximity to downtown and a ⅓ mile trail. There are no centers to rent but this park is a lovely place to spend an afternoon.

Kennworth Park
The ideal park for sports lovers, there are baseball and softball fields, along with batting cages. The park has fields for rent and one picnic pavilion to rent at this link. You can also call this number for pavilion reservations: (770) 528-8890.

South Shore Park
On the south shore of the lake is this fantastic park. Portions of the show Ozark were filmed here. There is a beach and a fishing area. There are no rentals available but you can stay for as long as you want on the green areas.

Adams Park
This park is a little closer to Kennesaw and offers baseball, softball, and soccer fields. There are trails and a community center too. A 33 acre park with a half mile trail and pavilions. There is also a community center, which can be rented at this link.
